Drug: gastrointestinal aid. Oliver Toll identifies the plant with this Arapaho name as “wild celery” and notes that it was used for medicine. Hilger says the same plant was used as a medicine for stomach ache. Osmorhiza spp were used by a number of plains and basin tribes as stomach medicines.
