The Gros Ventre tribe used the above name ('ghost rope') to refer to Bindweed.
Arapahos also cite the same name, saying that the combination of trailing growth
form and white flowers inspires the name. In the field, however, one consultant
identified the White Geranium by this name. It is not uncommon for the same
name to be used for multiple species, however.
