Rebecca Hwa

Rebecca Hwa is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her PhD from Harvard University in 2001. Her primary research interests include statistical parsing, multilingual processing, and semi-supervised learning methods. She has also collaborated with colleagues on information visualization, sentiment analysis and bioinformatics. She currently serves as the chair of the executive board of the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics.
