Zenzi M. Griffin

Zenzi M. Griffin is Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. In 1998, Dr. Griffin earned a PhD in Cognitive Psychology (with a minor in Linguistics) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With Dr. Kathryn Bock, she was one of the first researchers to monitor eye movements to study language production. Dr. Griffin served on the psychology faculties at Stanford University and Georgia Institute of Technology before joining the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. In addition to continuing projects on the time course of utterance planning, Dr. Griffin is studying the retrieval and use of personal names.
