Overview
--------
SemLink is a project whose aim is to link together different lexical
resources via a set of mappings.  These mappings will make it possible
to combine the different information provided by these different
lexical resources for tasks such as inferencing.  We also plan to use
the mappings to aid in semi-automatic extension of each resources
coverage, to increase the overall overlap in coverage.

In SemLink release 1.1, two mappings are available: a mapping between
VerbNet and PropBank, which can be found in the "vn-pb" subdirectory;
and a mapping between VerbNet and FrameNet, which can be found in the
"vn-fn" subdirectory.  Each subdirectory contains a README.TXT file
explaining the contents and their file formats.

History
-------
Release 1.0 contained a bug that caused some of the verbs that are not
contained in VerbNet at all to get improper annotations in the
vnpbprop.txt file for the vn-pb mapping.  This bug has now been fixed.
