This workshop will offer basic lessons on using FLEX, the successor to the popular Toolbox language annotation software, along with discussions of shifting from Toolbox to FLEX. FLEX is designed as an automated interlinearization tool, combining a lexicon with texts.
This workshop will be taught by Beth Bryson, of SIL. She has presented workshops on FLEX and Toolbox at venues around the country. This will be an all-day workshop, with the morning focused on the basics, and the afternoon featuring more advanced topics, including issues of interoperability between Toolbox and FLEX. All day cost is $25. Cost for morning or afternoon only is $15.
*The FLEX/Toolbox workshop is now full, but if you would like to be put on a waitlist, please contact Jill Duffield at duffielc AT colorado.edu
