Alejandrina (Alex) Cristià
Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique, Paris
Alex Cristià received her BA in Letras at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina, and her MA and PhD from the Interdisciplinary Linguistics Program at Purdue University, where she worked with linguists, psychologists and speech and language pathologists. She is now a post-doctoral fellow at the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique in France, where she is exploring the neural correlates of language acquisition. Using an interdisciplinary perspective, she aims to shed light on the sources of linguistic knowledge (including how speech shapes language) and the relationship between language acquisition and cognitive development.
