Myriam Bouveret

Myriam Bouveret is Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Rouen, France. She received her PhD in Linguistics in 1996 from the University of Montpellier-3. Her research interests include the semantics-syntax interface, cognitive linguistics, comparative lexical semantics and lexical and phrasal structure. Her recent publications include "Give Verb-Object Constructions in French: From Grammar to Idioms", BLS 34, 2008; "Multiframe Semantics, Metaphoric Extension and Grammar", BLS 35, 2009 (co-authored with Eve Sweetser); "Verbo-Nominal Constructions in FrameNet Matching Lexical Functions in MTT", Proceedings of the 13th Euralex Congress, 2008 (co-authored with Charles J. Fillmore). A co-edited volume, Constructions in Discourse and Development (co-edited with Dominique Legallois) is in press at John Benjamins.
