Location

Introduced Chukars can be found in drier, shrubbier upland areas, while introduced Gray Partridges are usually found in moister, lower areas such as farm fields. Native quails (the Bobwhite Quail and Scaled Quail) occur in riparian and semi-desert areas respectively.
