Dippers and the Arapaho

The first name was provided by Mark Soldierwolf, who described the behavior of the bird in detail. He knew it from an old personal name. The second name was given by Lloyd Dewey. The third name is not a standard, traditional name for this bird, but it was the spontaneous description given by Edward Willow, who was familiar with the bird and its behavior.
