SSH Secure Shell Installation Instructions


You need this software in order to access the annotation server

1. Download and install the SSH Secure Shell from the following address:
    http://oit.colorado.edu/ssh

2. Once you've installed the program, go to the folder where you installed the program 
    and run SSHSecureShellClient.exe

3. Click on the button that says 'Quick Connect'

4. It will bring up a prompt. When it does, enter the following information:
	
Host name: verbs.colorado.edu
Username: Use your assigned username
Port Number: 22
Authentication Method: Password

5. When you click 'Connect', it will ask 'Do you want to save the new host key to the 
    local database?' Click 'Yes'.

6. Enter your password when prompted.

7. TIP: When you first connect, a box labeled 'Add Profile' will pop up. To save time in 
    the future, enter a name such as 'PropBank' into the box and save the profile. After   
    you do this, during future sessions you can use the 'Profiles' button (next to the 'Quick   
    Connect' button) to prevent doing most of this again.
